OpenGradient 是开放智能网络——一个去中心化的基础设施网络，旨在大规模托管、推理和验证 AI 模型。OpenGradient 并非作为独立的区块链运行，而是作为一个专门的 AI 协处理器：它使应用程序、区块链和自主代理能够将计算密集型的 AI 任务外包给由 GPU 和可信执行环境 (TEE) 节点组成的专用网络。验证者集在共识层验证每个计算证明（TEE 证明或 zkML 证明），然后才将其提交到链上，从而允许任何网络或应用程序无需信任地使用 AI。
