NEO 是下一代智能经济平台（前身为 Antshares），也是中国首个开源区块链，成立于 2014 年，常被称为“中国以太坊”。 什么是 NEO？ NEO 采用智能经济方法来实现其分布式网络概念。其主要目标是通过区块链技术的去中心化网络和数字身份实现资产数字化。 NEO 的主要目标是成为“智能经济”的分布式网络。正如其网站所述：“数字资产 + 数字身份 + 智能合约 = 智能经济”。NEO 由上海区块链研发公司“OnChain”开发，并通过两次众筹融资：第一次众筹于 2015 年 10 月以 55 万美元售出 1750 万枚 NEO 代币，第二次众筹以 450 万美元售出剩余的 2250 万枚 NEO 代币。 为什么选择 NEO？ NEO 平台上的资产数字化和身份验证本质上创造了一种全新的资产注册、发行和流通方式。这意味着房地产、公司股份甚至法定货币等有形资产可以在 NEO 网络上数字化并进行交易，从而催生全新的经济形态。 其数字身份系统允许平台与现实世界经济集成。它拥有自定义的数字身份标准，能够为个人、组织甚至实体创建电子身份数据。这些电子系统使用多层身份验证模型，包括面部识别、语音识别和指纹识别。 由于在公共区块链上使用数字证书，平台上的所有数字资产都享有法律保护。这反过来保证了信任，因为系统为所有实体的持有提供了不可磨灭且不可更改的记录。
