Elysium é uma plataforma de contratos inteligentes totalmente compatível com Ethereum, construída usando Polkadot, Substrate e frontier. Substrate é o principal SDK de blockchain usado por desenvolvedores para criar as parachains que compõem a rede Polkadot. Frontier é o conjunto que fornece uma camada de compatibilidade com Ethereum para Substrate e também nos permite executar dapps Ethereum nativamente no Substrate. Características: Substrate nos ajuda a alcançar alta taxa de transferência. Aproximadamente 2500 a 3000 transações por segundo. Substrate é um framework flexível, à prova do futuro, de código aberto e atualizável. Ele também suporta atualizações sem fork, o que é muito conveniente para adicionar novos recursos. Ele suporta MetaMask, Remix IDE, Hardhat, Waffle e Truffle, com os quais as pessoas já estão familiarizadas. Os usuários podem interagir com Elysium através da API Ethereum (Web3js, EtherJS) e da API Substrate (Polkadot JS). Todos os métodos RPC existentes do Ethereum funcionam, então nenhum dos seus dapps quebrará.
