Origin Sonic (OS) is a liquid staking token on the Sonic network developed by Origin Protocol. OS is fully backed by S, Sonic's native token, which is staked to a subset of active Sonic validators to earn Proof-of-Stake rewards. Through its rebasing mechanism, OS holders earn staking yield automatically in their wallets without needing to stake or lock their assets. OS maintains a tight 1:1 peg to S through deep onchain liquidity on SwapX and a permissionless async withdrawal mechanism, ensuring holders can exit at virtually 1:1 for S at any time.
