Prior to co-founding the company, Mr. Lin served as assistant general manager of the finance company of SAIC Motor Corporation from to . From to , Mr. Lin served as director of the sales department at SAIC-GM Automotive Finance Co., Ltd. From to , Mr. Lin worked at SAIC-GM Co., Ltd., where he held the positions of Tax and Insurance Manager in the Finance Department and Financial Support Manager in the Marketing Department. From to , Mr. Lin worked at the Pudong Branch of the Bank of China, where he held the positions of Finance Department Clerk, Deputy Manager of the Audit Department, and Deputy Manager of the Credit Department. Mr. Lin obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in , majoring in Investment Management.
