Jae Kwon은 블록체인 소프트웨어 아키텍트이자 Tendermint의 공동 창립자이며, Interchain Foundation의 회장입니다. Cornell에서 컴퓨터 과학 학사 학위를 취득한 후, 실리콘 밸리에서 전문 개발자로 일하며 Alexa와 Yelp에서 모바일 애플리케이션 개발 팀을 이끌었습니다. 또한 생산성 서비스인 iDoneThis를 공동 창립했습니다. Jae는 Javascript로 작성된 CoffeeScript 컴파일러/인터프리터, Scramble.io라는 종단간 암호화 이메일 시스템, 암호화폐 거래소 등 수많은 오픈소스 프로젝트에 참여했습니다. 이러한 프로젝트는 크립토펑크 해커 정신에서 영감을 받았으며, 궁극적으로 현재의 Tendermint 작업으로 이어졌습니다. 2014년 Jae는 Tendermint 프로젝트를 만들었고, Ethan Buchman 및 Zarko Milosevic과 함께 Tendermint 합의 알고리즘과 구현을 더욱 개선하여 작업 증명 마이닝의 비용과 단점으로부터 블록체인을 해방시키는 것을 목표로 했습니다. 그의 사명은 이 기술을 더욱 접근하기 쉽게 만들어 분산 원장 기술의 채택을 가속화하는 것입니다.
