Zcash는 2013년 과학자 그룹에 의해 만들어졌으며, 처음에는 Bitcoin의 프라이버시 확장인 Zerocoin을 제안한 후 독립적인 프로토콜을 구축했습니다. 생태계는 Zcash Community Grants Committee와 새로운 Coinholder-Controlled Fund를 통해 블록 보상이 독립적인 팀을 지원하는 자체 자금 조달 개발 모델로 운영됩니다.
