BMX는 총 공급량이 1,000,000,000인 BitMart Exchange에서 발행한 ERC20 기반 토큰입니다. 2017년 12월에 BMC로 처음 발행된 BitMart는 2018년 1월에 토큰 이름을 BMX로 변경했습니다. 스마트 컨트랙트 및 블록 탐색기에 표시되는 심볼 이름은 BMC이지만 실제 사용하는 심볼 이름은 BMX입니다. 이유는 당사 토큰이 BMC로 명명되었으나, 다른 프로젝트에서 이미 "BMC"를 사용하고 있음을 발견하여 토큰 심볼 이름을 "BMX"로 변경해야 했기 때문입니다.
