Pendulum es una red blockchain interoperable construida sobre el framework Substrate de Polkadot, diseñada para servir como el eslabón perdido entre las finanzas tradicionales y el ecosistema DeFi. Su activo nativo, PEN, funciona como el token de utilidad central para Vortex Finance, una plataforma líder de rampa fiat-to-crypto y puerta de enlace de liquidación global. PEN se utiliza para gas de red, staking para desbloquear descuentos por niveles en comisiones en Vortex, y vinculación de proyectos para listados de activos. Operando bajo un estricto modelo deflacionario, PEN tiene un límite máximo de 150 millones de tokens con cero inflación continua. Al aprovechar AMMs guiados por oráculos, Pendulum proporciona la infraestructura descentralizada necesaria para el comercio de Forex (FX) en cadena escalable y la utilidad de stablecoins.
