LQTY es un token que captura los ingresos por tarifas generados por el Protocolo Liquity a través del staking. Liquity es un protocolo de préstamos descentralizado que permite obtener préstamos con interés del 0% utilizando Ether como colateral. Los préstamos se pagan en LUSD y deben mantener un ratio de colateral mínimo de solo el 110%. Además del colateral, los préstamos están asegurados por un Stability Pool que contiene LUSD y por prestatarios compañeros que actúan colectivamente como garantes de último recurso. Liquity como protocolo es sin custodia, inmutable y sin gobernanza.
