"Juno es una red global, de código abierto y sin permisos para aplicaciones interoperables descentralizadas. Cualquiera puede crear y usar aplicaciones entre cadenas en Juno. El ecosistema es pionero en el desarrollo y adopción de CosmWasm, permitiendo a los desarrolladores implementar contratos inteligentes seguros y robustos entre cadenas en Rust. La blockchain de prueba de participación de Juno está construida usando Cosmos SDK y alcanza consenso de red a través de Tendermint Consensus. La red es gobernada por delegadores, quienes votan cambios a través de la gobernanza en cadena. Todos los procesos de la red son impulsados por $JUNO, el activo nativo de la red.
