El Token de Gobernanza de Compound es un token de gobernanza en el protocolo de préstamos Compound Finance. COMP permite al propietario delegar derechos de voto a la dirección de su elección: su propia billetera, otro usuario, una aplicación o un experto en DeFi. Cualquier persona puede participar en la gobernanza de Compound al recibir delegación, sin necesidad de poseer COMP. Cualquier persona con el 1% de COMP delegado a su dirección puede proponer una acción de gobernanza; estas son conjuntos de acciones simples o complejas, como agregar soporte para un nuevo activo, cambiar el factor de colateral de un activo, cambiar el modelo de tasa de interés de un mercado, o cambiar cualquier otro parámetro o variable del protocolo que el administrador actual pueda modificar.
