Chainlink es la red de oráculos descentralizada estándar de la industria que resuelve el "problema del oráculo" conectando smart contracts con datos del mundo real. Las blockchains no pueden acceder a información externa por sí mismas, por lo que Chainlink actúa como un puente seguro, permitiendo que los smart contracts reaccionen a eventos del mundo real utilizando datos verificados y a prueba de manipulaciones. Es ampliamente considerada una de las primeras redes de oráculos descentralizadas y es el líder del mercado en llevar datos off-chain a la cadena. La plataforma opera a través de una red descentralizada de nodos que obtienen, validan y entregan datos a los smart contracts.
